Hi. My name is Nick. I'm afraid of rabbits. I like ducks. I once had a chinchilla and my family and I are considering applying for an exotic pet permit so we can buy a wallaby  . That should be an amazing pet right? I look forward to going with the wallaby to parks and watch everyone stare and freak out. I love books. I love coding a bit. I have so many projects up and I'm so wired. I lead a very high powered life and tend to go inactive a lot. I love my job. It's not very often you can find a job that pays you for what you absolutely feel like you're meant to do. Things I've done in real life have personally affected each and every person here. Especially considering you're reading this! That means you've been affected by me! But, I'm sick right now so I'll try not to cough on people. Being sick is the only way I take a break from my life. Oh, you all may also know me as Leif. Thanks! |

Hi, nick! Welcome to PromoForum. Thank you for such a wonderful introduction as well. May I ask what job it is that you do? It is extremely rare to literally love a job, so the fact that you have one that you love is pretty amazing. I'm a services coordinator at a company that is absolutely fantastic. It is my job to take your paper documents and make magic happen. I help digitize companies stuck in the past and bring them to the future. Some of my company's clients are: Facebook, Kraft, Prospect Medical, Loma Linda University, California State University, California Welfare system, California Child Services, Salvation Army, Machinima, Wonderful, Iron Mountain, Chevron, Aera, Dignity Health, PG&E. I could keep going on, but, you get the picture. My job is to coordinate the team and make the transition as smooth as possible. It's a great place to work, I love what I do. People hardly realize it, but, there's so much more that goes behind turning years old content to digital records that is completely and instantly available by simply typing in a few words or less. My company is so unknown, unless you ever actually need us. It's kind of interesting. Haha. Medical records are always the most fun. D: I once got a patient chart covered in blood. Eww. nick, that sounds like a very time consuming job. That being said, I'm glad that you love it as you do. I'd drive myself crazy with all the paperwork. (lol)

Um, I don't know Leif  ... but welcome to PF either way! I have to agree, that was a great intro, and very entertaining. Haha. I noticed that a lot of your clients have California in the name... is that where you live? Looking forward to seeing you around the forum and don't forget to come back often!

nick, that sounds like a very time consuming job. That being said, I'm glad that you love it as you do. I'd drive myself crazy with all the paperwork. (lol) Oh! I love paperwork so much! Okay, relevant paperwork. I've learned to fill out so many types of forms so accurately and nearly instantly spot if someone filled it out wrong! I can even create insurance claims forms from scratch now! Which is honestly an amazing feat cause those things are complicated bastards. Um, I don't know Leif ... but welcome to PF either way! I have to agree, that was a great intro, and very entertaining. Haha. I noticed that a lot of your clients have California in the name... is that where you live? Used to live in New Mexico well not really, but I spent every summer there so it kind of counts since I had my own bedroom? Haha. |
