PromoForum's Christmas Holiday 2015 Event Info & Signups
Guess what, December 1st, 2015 is tomorrow! This means that Christmas is right around the corner. In lieu of the holiday season, we're hosting two separate events. Please take a look at the following information. If you wish to participate in either of these two events, you must follow the instructions and fill out the forum ACCURATELY in your posts.
Global Rules & Important Information
- For both events, members will be required to submit their Physical address/mailing address via PM to Teg .
- Addresses will NOT be given out without the permission of the user who submits their address.
- If you choose to participate on a global scale, your address will be given to anyone participating in the event for which you've signed up for.
- See each event for more details regarding addresses. - PromoForum and its staff is NOT liable or responsible for any mishaps revolving around these holiday events. This means, that if something happens (God forbid) as a result of your address being given out, you are relinquishing the right to fault PromoForum and its staff members. This also means that no legal actions can be take against PromoForum and its staff.
- In all honestly, this should never be an issue in the first place. - By sending your address and PM to Teg , you acknowledge and approve for that address to be used for the purpose of this event and this event only. You also acknowledge that you've read this thread in its entirety before sending said PM to the admin.
- All addresses sent via PM will be kept in the admin's inbox as proof of participation in this event and as a means to ensure that PromoForum isn't liable should a problem arise.
- User's who opt to send and receive cards from anyone on the forum should take into consideration the holiday that other users celebrate. For example, you wouldn't want to send a Christmas card to a user who celebrates Hanukkah. Additionally, if a user doesn't celebrate the holiday, you would want to send a card that says "Happy Holidays." We would like for our members to refrain from accidentally offending someone during this season.
- Please be advised, most of our members are either from the UK or the US.
- Members can signup in this thread.
- You can signup for multiple events in one reply by copy and pasting the code for each one into your reply.
- YOU MUST FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS, especially the PMing of your address.
Now, while normally we wouldn't condone sending your personal information to anyone, this is a special event. The Christmas Card Exchange is a fun event where members can signup to send and receive holiday cards from other forum members and staff. For this event, your physical address is required. Members can signup for this exchange anytime between now and December 21st, 2015. User's participating in this event can start right away if they are doing the sending. Please look at the following:

Member to Member Card Exchange- You will either receive cards from some or all of the members who sign up for the member to member card exchange.
- If you wish to ONLY receive cards from specific members, specify them in your request by tagging them with the @ symbol followed by their username.
- Your address will be sent privately to user's participating in this event. This means, if you sign up for this exchange, your address will be given out according to your request.
- By signing up for this exchange, you agree not to abuse confidentiality, or use the address for any other reason except for the purpose of this event.
- For this exchange, you have the option to send and/or receive cards, so be specific about what you want.
- Again, cards should be mailed out on or before December 21st, 2015.
