If you had the money to pay someone to make a custom theme for your forum, How much would you pay them? I have hired someone to make a custom theme for my forum that I am making. I paid him $250 to make the theme. I can't wait to see the finished look.

I hope you didn't pay him/her all of the sum before the theme was created ? About 30% for a down payment should suffice! $250 is a decent price for a forum. Let us know how it turns out.

If I had the money to spend then the price is just a number. I'd spend however much it takes.

I haven't ever paid any money to anyone for a theme or template or anything like that. Max I would pay for a forum would be $150 though.

It depends on your requirements on the design, if it's complex then they will charge you high, even higher $250 for a custom theme. Do you believe a freelancer offered me $1800 only for a web page design that I sent graphic to them to ask price first...as said above...it always depends on your design. |

I recently offered someone money to build me some plugins *cough* but they wouldn't take the money. People have offered to pay me to build forum themes for them and I'll take the money for the simple fact that I am a stay at home mom with no job as of late. Any little bit of income would help us out a great deal.
