Hello, everyone. Welcome to The Arena! This board is a fun board for all members and staff. Users can request site battles with other forum, website, and blog owners. Before going "battle crazy," please take a few moments to read over the important information regarding this board.
Without further ado, here are The Arena Rules and Guide.
Rules & Guide
- Users can only submit a website, forum or blog to one ongoing battle. This means that you can have multiple battles going on at once among your different sites, but if your site is currently in a battle it cannot be in more than one open battle.
- When you create a thread in The Arena, you should apply the label "Waiting." This will show users that you are accepting sites to battle against.
- When you've found your opponent(s), you should then change the label to "Poll Needed" and a Mod Squad Team member, TL, or Admin will set a poll for you.
- Make sure you follow the specific template outlined for you when you create a thread to ensure that members know what kind of battle they are signing up for.
- You must be the administrator on the forum, website, or blog you are setting up the battle for.
- The polls will remain open for a period of 7 days. They will automatically lock at 11:59PM the seventh day. The site with the most votes wins the battle.
- The battle standings thread will be updated with the @display name - Site Name (linked) - # of battles the site has one.
- The battles standings will be categorized by month. The site (not the user) with the most won battles for the month will have their forum, website, or blog listed on the main page of the website for an entire month.
- Members who win battles will also receive an "award" of PC$ and an actual award depending on the number of battles the user has won.
