I have thought of a new feature I think you guys should try something with. I know that forum staff get paid virtual currency to spend within the forums and sometimes more, but I believe you should set up a donation thing for specific staff departments. Like donations for packagers, reviewers, moderators, etc. Or maybe you could add a donation button to each of the staff members profile so people can donate directly to them?
I believe it would be a really cool feature for staff and members to participate in.

Wow has this gone unanswered... Let's see if I can help address this. ^.^
I'm assuming you're talking about actual currency, in which case I think it's a little weird for staff members to have a donation button set on their profiles asking for money when most of the donations should be directed towards the forum itself, and in my experience most of the staff I have had in the past on my team would donate themselves to the forum itself, I think being staff and asking for money when the forum they are staff on could use it more. That's just me, though there's nothing stopping staff members from linking to a Paypal donation page, or some other means of donations, in their bio.
I think giving everyone a donation button would cause some unnecessary drama and chaos, as personally, I would not want any money for myself but for the forum to get it so it continue being the forum I am staff on.
Though, if you mean virtual currency, there is a send donation button above their avatar that will do exactly this. As far as departments go, I would believe donating to the TL of said department would suffice. ^.^
