Usually warm... Which is the whole point of wearing socks, really. I prefer thicker ankle socks most times.

I like those warm fuzzy socks when it's cold! Only time I really wear regular socks is when I'm planning to exercise and wearing my sneakers. Or when I decide to wear the one pair of boots that I own. The rest of the time I don't really wear socks because I wear flats or flip-flops. _________________ But yeah, cold feet when wearing socks? Um.. you're doing it wrong? I don't even have a logical answer for that.

Technically, socks don't do either. Socks aren't intrinsically warm, and if they're kept in your cupboard or you sock drawer, they're at room temperature, which is below body temperature anyway. Socks trap a layer of warm air close to the surface of your skin, and it's that which feels warm, even though this will only be at or below body temperature. Without the socks, your body loses heat to the atmosphere due largely to conduction and convection. I don't know why socks would make your feet cold though

Even when I wear really thick fuzzy socks my feet get cold.
