24 Photos That Show What You Really Look Like On Your Phone
So these images were very striking indeed, at least to me. And yeah, I admit sometimes I am that person that's constantly looking down at her phone (on the train, for example, but that's usually because I don't want to make eye contact with anyone, as some shifty people tend to ride it), or out to dinner, but I stop myself before I totally ignore the people that I'm with. Though I am sometimes the "mother" that's mentioned in the story, just looking out the window or off in the distance feeling isolated. But mostly I'm on my tablet at nights when we watch TV because I'm not into some of the shows that my boyfriend watches, but I sit out there to at least spend time with him, even though I'm usually paying more attention to my tablet, haha. It's kinda sad that we depend on our smartphones/tablets so much nowadays. What do you all think?

That's amazing, April, thanks for sharing! I didn't realise until image nine... That the phones weren't even in their hands! And that was from reading each passage of text, so I likely would have noticed much later if I were just looking at the pictures! I had to scroll back to the start to check It's a great metaphor, "Removed". The phones are removed from each shoot, but also each subject is, in a sense, removed from the world that continues on around them. Beautiful. Thank you

No problem! I thought it was very powerful as well. What I thought was even better was that the phones were not removed digitally. The photographer had each subject hold their positions, facial expressions and everything, and then he actually physically slipped the phones/tablets out of their hands, thus giving the "removed" look.

I love that he did it that way, gives a much more subtle effect, I think :-D

I only use my phone to pass time like when we were at the doctor today. I used it until it died in the waiting room. xD
