At the present moment I have one super key available and I'm using it to display the user # of threads created. I just haven't installed it yet. I'm going to have to wait until next week to purchase another key.

It's possible without plugins, you just add the url to the navigation menu. Unless you want it somewhere else? But that is still doable with html/css in the templates for the board.
I prefer new thread list myself. That way I can see what new threads have been posted as opposed to seeing new posts that could be anywhere in a long thread I've not read.

Definitely needed, I mean, I've looked for it everytime I've visited this forum.

I think it depends on which route is taken on this.
Wether that be a link in the menu bar to a dedicated page for New Posts or a box or section of some kind so they are visible without leaving the forum page.

I think only owners can do this, not sure I do have a proboards forum and it's about 4.00 per one key although, they do have packaged deals that come with more keys, super keys, and space the plugin pack is room for ten more plugins, one super key and four keys. Need more info? Just ask.

Members can buy keys for the forum. The administrator has to provide the link though, which is the link unique to buying something for that forum in particular.

Keys can be bought for any forum using a gift link which for here would be > www.proboards.com/store/create_cart/plugin/promoforum.net/3 Dave

What's the difference between a normal and a super. There are seven types of plugin keys - Thread - Store data related to a specific thread. Whenever the thread is displayed on the screen, the plugin key data will be available to access.
- Post - Posts are the messages inside of thread. Post keys store data related to a specific post.
- Conversation - Stores data related to a specific conversation. A conversation is like a thread, except between only specific people.
- Message - A message is the individual message inside of a conversation, similar to how posts are inside of threads.
- Private User - This key will store data related to a user on the forum. The key data is only accessible by the user themselves. Use this key to store a member's preferences, since the data stored in the key only applies to this user and not anyone else.
- Super User - A super user is a special type of plugin key. Unlike a private user key (which stores data that only the current logged in user has access to), a super user key can store that is accessible by everyone on the forum. Whenever a user is displayed on the screen, their plugin key data will be available to access.
- Super Forum - A super forum is the only key that is loaded on every page, and is therefore suitable for storing information globally across your forum.

Super are more expensive and are required for much larger more integrated plugins (like Yootil, Money System, Chess, etc).
I presume that is what you were asking?
Edit: Well, Dave gave a better answer, lol.
