Since we have a topic for your favorite current gen console, why not have a topic for your favorite retro console? I'm more of a retro gamer anyways, so I think it's only fair. Anyways my favorite retro console of all time is the Sega Genesis. My favorite gaming franchise originated on the console, plus it was the first gaming console I ever owned and played. I currently own four of them and all four of them still work too!

Sega for me also. I loved that console growing up! I remember playing The Lion King for hours in the summer, haha. And also Sonic the Hedgehog of course. Then getting kicked off of it when my older brother and his friends wanted to play Mortal Kombat or some other game (though I sometimes played that with him also, when his friends weren't around). This was all before I had a job that took up most of my time though.

That was the first console I ever played, when I was four years old at my grandmother's house, playing Frogger. Lol! Yeah, and Mortal Kombat was pretty fun. Especially when I beat my brother at it!

I feel old... Dreamcast! Does anyone else remember the Dreamcast? Like seriously why did they stop making that? I had so much fun. My favorite retro console is the Gameboy Color My first major experience into gaming was because of the gameboy!

For me my favorite retro console would be the original Gameboy! Black and white video games with no color was definitely something interesting. The graphics of course were really bad back then but when I was a kid it was still fun playing the Gameboy. Then the consoles just kept getting better and better.

PS2 (if it counts as retro) was full of it, back in the day.

Sega was awesome, but I'll always prefer the NES over any other console! I also loved the Atari!

Super Nintendo for me. I think it was used more often than the Sega Genesis we owned prior to.
I'm also fond of the Gamecube that we had as well. When my cousins (who I used to enjoy spending time with) came over, they'd bring their games over. Mostly wrestling and easy games... That I seemed to have little skill with.
