So to build up our database of forum themes for ProBoards, I need some ideas. I will be implementing two or three of my previous themes for the database, but I'd like to add more. So if you guys have ideas, please share them!

So if you guys have ideas, please share them! You could always create an Excel styled theme lol This is quite hard for a non designer to come up with ideas Maybe 4 different themes based on our seasons .. Summer, Winter, Autumn and Spring Or maybe a standard easy design but with multiple colour options Halloween theme, Christmas Theme etc Dave

@dave, I'm releasing the Halloween theme one week before Halloween! After I finish 1.5, I'll be working on the Christmas Theme and then releasing that Dec. 1st. I have been toying with some PhotoShop designs with designing you an Excel theme.

Lol as good as that sounds Teg im actually thinking of closing that forum. But if you like creating themes then a movie based one would be good

But, I've got other ones I have to finish first, plus I still have to update my current ones and release them for download

How about go all out retro? A theme that looks like windows 98, or even better, 3.1 Maybe even a theme that looks like all those Geocities sites we used to have (remember those?!) complete with flashing GIFs and broken link images

This'll get you started with a Windows 3.1 theme! My favourite wallpaper back in the day But on a note of more serious themes, how about one for computer programming/coding? perhaps green text on a black/dark grey background. Monospaced typefaces and so on. That could look good, I think, without looking geocities-esque. Kinda like the code style I use on my forum, it's subtle. * * * M A T R I X W E B * * *

Or Angelfire... I think that might have been the same as Geocities or at least affiliated with it, I can't remember. I used to have an Angelfire/Lycos website when I was a teenager... lol.

Oh Angelfire! God yes Used to download loads of QBasic code from those sites! Clicking round the webring Another idea for Win3.1 theme would be user selectable colours You'd only need to change the CSS for text colours, backgrounds and titlebars. Can do that easy in the forum wrapper header
