Do any of you listen to music while you study or do homework? Does it distract you?

Back when I was in high school/college, yeah I did listen to music while doing homework. And I don't remember it bothering me one bit, might have even helped me focus more.
But now, I use music sometimes while I'm working so that I don't fall asleep... haha. My work can be incredibly tedious (tons of data entry) so it's not hard to get sleepy entirely too quickly.

I listen to Music or watch TV when i'm studying.. It's been working so far for me.  I'm not one that studies a lot though. |

of course! I prefer instrumental music for studying, but yeah in general I can't do stuff in the silence.

Think it depends really on the mood im in.
Some of my studying i actually do from youtube videos so listening to music wouldnt be an option.

I actually love listening to music, or even to a TV show or movie in the background. But it has to be something I'm not too interested in like a movie I've seen like 100 times or something. |

Actually studied without any music or TV today, i don't know how it went until i get my test back though. xD

What is this studying you speak of? Is that how I pass my tests? o.o But really, I don't study much. Because I'm on an online school I pretty much have all my notes sitting next to me so I just use those for the tests and quizzes if I forget, which knowing my amazing memory happens all the time. XD |

I don't listen to music when I study, I prefer silence. To concentrate I need complete silence to get along with the subject I study.

I never revise even though I should.
