When my VPN is off the URL just goes to a blank page. Yet when I turn VPN on, site loads fine. :S

That's very strange as the site is working for others. I use Open VPN a lot and it works fine on and off the VPN. Anyone else having any kind of issues?

I don't know. Nothing has changed with my browser since I last used Chrome earlier today and didn't have to use VPN.

Does it work if you run an incognito tab in Chrome? Are other devices on the same network similarly affected? Does it happen with just this forum, all forums, or all sites?

Yeah, I'm usually running the forum on Chrome with no VPN and it loads just fine.
You didn't recently upgrade to Windows 10 or anything, did you? I ask because when I helped my mom upgrade her computer, afterwards Chrome started freaking out and randomly crashing after a few minutes. She hasn't been able to fix it, even after I had my IT boyfriend on the phone, walking me through solutions. I think she now just uses Firefox because she has no issues with that browser.
If you end up not being able to figure it out, is just using Firefox a doable solution?

General consensus seems to be that it's better to upgrade to windows 10 first, then put all your programs over the top. You're more likely to run into trouble when you have a bunch of programs already installed and chooching along nicely, THEN you put windows 10 over the top. So if you do have windows 10, try uninstalling Chrome completely (you won't lose bookmarks etc, these are stored in the "cloud". Just make sure Google Chrome is logged on to your Google account) then reinstalling. And don't worry about tryna use things like VPNs and proxies, they tend to make Proboards servers have an Unhappy.

Well it's working now. Maybe I just needed to turn the computer off and on.
I haven't upgraded to W10 yet.

I'm still left wondering why you would even need a VPN for a forum, particularly given Proboards' stance on them

I'm still left wondering why you would even need a VPN for a forum, particularly given Proboards' stance on them Well I use VPN for other things. I forgot to turn it off when I came on here then ince I did turn it off the site suddenly wouldn't load. It was strange.
