So in this thread, feel free to post what you see on your desktop every day. (a.k.a. your wallpaper.) Feel free to share your lock screen as well if you want! (for those who have Windows 8+) For those who don't know how to do this, read on. - First thing you want to do is make sure that you have everything minimized so that you can clearly see your desktop, along with whatever icons you have on your screen.
- Now press the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. (it may be abbreviated as PrtScrn)
- Open a program on your computer such as MS Paint or Photoshop, where you can view images. Go to the main menu and open a "New" document. If you're using Paint, there should be a simple "Paste" button at the far left at the top. If you're using Photoshop, navigate to "Edit>>Paste." Then save the file somewhere that you will be able to find it again.
(Alternatively, if you have Dropbox set to save screenshots automatically, just skip this step and head to your Dropbox folder to upload it to an online host of your choice.)
- Head to an online photo host of your choice and upload your screenshot. Then share it here via the provided link!
I'll start it off! Personal laptop: Work laptop: And just for fun, here's my lock screen on my personal laptop, specifically set for Halloween!

Ah, no actually, as I've never worked with one of those before. @marti, do you have the Snipping Tool on it? If so, you can use that to take a screenshot also. When it opens, where it says "New" with the little arrow, click the arrow for the drop-down menu to show up and select "Window Snip." (Make sure your desktop is visible before you select it because then it will let you click anywhere on the screen to take your screenshot. Then it opens up a box where you can save the snip anywhere you want and then you proceed to upload it to an online photo host.) Otherwise, I don't know how else to take screenshots.

If you're using Google Chrome, there is an extension called Awesome Screenshot. You can take desktop screenshots with that. You can find it here.
