Joshua Farrell - CP Leader

Joshua Farrell has been a joy to work with over the past few months. Like April, Joshua has been on PF since the beginning. He demonstrates great leadership, takes the initiative, and helps implement new ideas into the forum.

Members & Posts

PromoForum would like to take the time to welcome our new members! We're up by nineteen members from last month's newsletter with a total of 78 members. If you have not already done so, check to see if they introduced themselves in the Introductions Board and welcome them to the forum!

PF Posts

I am proud to announce that PF has reached another milestone for the number of posts the forum has received. We're currently sitting at 5,000 + posts. Taking into consideration that PF opened it's doors on September 21st, 2015, 5,000 + is a major accomplishment! At this time, we'd like to thank all of our members & staff for helping us reach this milestone. We could not have done it with out you guys. Here's to many, many more!

New Team Member

It is our great honor to welcome the newest member of our staff team, synthtec. He's the newest member of our administration team. While it may seem like he's inactive on the forum, he's working his butt off in the background to bring us some amazing plugins for PF and a few other projects too. His ability to communicate, his enthusiasm, and dedication makes him an amazing addition to our Development Team! Welcome, synthtec!

PF 1.5 Theme

At the beginning of November 2015, we released our new theme PF 1.5. The motivation for the new theme came from numerous complaints from members and visitors about the pink and white start-up theme we'd launched with the site. PF developers Teg and Azayles redesigned and built a new theme from scratch. We hope that the new theme compensates those who did not like the original.

With this new theme, many features were introduced. Member profiles now utilize a cover photo and a complete redesign of the user profiles, and mini-profiles are visible. A sidebar was introduced to include a Member of the Month and Staff of the Month area; Staff Online area; Status Updates, Latest Posts, Staff Affiliates, and a Live Chat area for our members. Additionally, we added a footer affiliates bar for our member's affiliate banners should they decide they'd like to trade links with us.

Joshua Farrell built us a plugin that allows us to give our members the opportunity to have their leaderboard style advertisements in the header and footer of our forum. These advertisements are only visible when our forum is AdFree per ProBoards regulations.

PF Featured Section

PF now offers our members the opportunity to have their site featured. Featured sites display in a unique way just under the "Welcome Center" category of our forum. Each featured website is a redirect board with a screenshot image, the site's name, and a description. Members can submit their site's to be featured each month during the first two weeks of said month. Then, during the second two weeks, voting will commence among the members and staff for the site they'd like to see featured. All featured sites remain featured for one month.
